Introduction

X Water (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is a water reminder and tracking application for iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch developed by Jayveen. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use the X Water app.

By using X Water, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

X Water collects only the minimum information needed for the app to work:

• Water intake amounts and times that you enter

• Your daily goal and app preferences (units, reminder settings, theme, and similar settings)

• Notification permission, if you enable reminders

• A yes/no Premium status on your device if you buy Premium

Apple Health

If you turn on “Sync with Apple Health,” the app will write your water intake (dietary water) to Apple Health.

We only write water data. We do not read other health data from Apple Health unless you explicitly allow the app to do so.

Purchases

Premium is handled by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details.

We only keep a yes/no Premium status on your device to determine whether Premium features are unlocked.

We Do Not Collect

X Water does not collect:

• Your name, email, or contact details through the app

• Location data

• Advertising identifiers

• Analytics or tracking data

• Camera photos or camera data

How We Use Your Information

We use the information only to:

• Show your daily water progress

• Send the reminders you set

• Save your preferences

• Optionally log water to Apple Health

• Unlock Premium features on your device

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Storage

All water logs and settings are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData.

If you enable iCloud, some data may sync across your devices through Apple’s iCloud service. We do not operate our own servers that store your personal water data.

Third-Party Services

The only external services used by X Water are provided by Apple, including:

• Notifications

• HealthKit / Apple Health

• iCloud

• App Store

• In-App Purchases

These services are governed by Apple’s applicable privacy policies and terms.

Children’s Privacy

X Water does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

The app is suitable for all ages and does not require an account.

Your Choices

You can:

• Turn Apple Health sync on or off at any time in Settings

• Turn reminders on or off

• Restore or manage Premium through Apple

• Delete all app data by deleting the app

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, the updated version will be posted with a new “Last Updated” date.
